At Darn Tough all we do, all we have ever done is make socks. My family has been in the hosiery business for three generations. My father started Cabot Hosiery Mills in 1978 and for the past 36 years we have been making socks here, in the Green Mountains of Northfield, Vermont. We introduced Darn Tough Vermont about ten years ago in an effort to keep our mill alive and running, without having to send jobs offshore. We are interested in one thing the best possible socks the world has to offer.
